please enjoy these awesome videos. The first one is better not watched b/c its a very old song and there's no real video for it, just ones people have made. the video's not bad, but it might distract from the lyrics.

The second one is best watched with an intense stare and incredibly high.

Just saw this movie on Saturday -- its of course getting panned by critics, and by people. by those who hate bret easton ellis and those who love him. I think everyone of course is a stupid fucking idiot. I've read all of bret easton ellis' books and think he's an interesting writer, although I don't think he's st. francis of assissi. I thought the movie was really enjoyable and had all the main memorable plot points from the random collection of short stories it's based on.

Anyways, this gives me an opportunity to mourn brad renfro.



I first really fell in love with Brad when i was a cynical teenager who thought the world was a fool's errand and saw Bully, which was directed by Larry Clark. Brad's performance I still believe was like totally outstanding, just the highest caliber.

Here he is Ghost world. Another role of his that I've been a fan of for many many years is in Apt Pupil. Basically brad died in January 2008 of a heroin overdose and a week later Heath ledger died so no one really seemed to care about brad -- to the point where during the academy awards "dead people" montage, he wasn't even shown. which was fucking sick and shows the depravity of our superficail glossy gossip magazines worship it today forget em tomorrow fuckers.

His early death was a real tragedy but he really did some interesting shit in his movies. Anyways, he was great in the informers -- although he had bulked up a lot by that point, the very end of his life -- he plays arguably the only good character, a lonely doorman at an apartment building. Don't know what else to say. this video is fucked up with its allusion -- esp. a 16-year-old brad who's started doing heroin telling an interviewer blithely, "acting, its like, if I did heroin, acting would be like my heroin. i don't do heroin but acting is like my heroin, it's my drug, I love it so much."
